Relevant Experience

Track Record 

W&W Construction 2010 Ltd, have built numerous projects at both the Wanganui and Manawatu - Prisons, local schools, supermarkets, rest homes, retail shops, pet food factories and food outlets.   Many of these building projects have been undertaken within the City of Wanganui and around the North Island, all with successful completions.  

Technical Skills ‑ Personnel

Glenn Wadsworth ‑   Company Director and Project Director.  Glenn is a qualified Carpenter, but is now directly involved with the administration side of the Company and the day to day running of the company.

Other key personnel employed by W&W Construction 2010 Ltd include Project Manager, two Quantity Surveyors and two Office Staff.

Labour and Management

Labour resources and management varies according to the workload.  At present we have in our employ twelve carpenters, three labourers, six apprentice carpenters, one overall  Project Manager and 4 site supervisors.

Our project manager and site supervisors are proficient in all aspects of construction, including the daily running of the sites and liaison with Engineers and Architects.    Most of these staff members have been in the Company's employ for more than ten years and have had between 10‑30 years in the construction industry.

All staff are well informed on all safety procedures, a major policy statement on this having been completed in line with O.S.H. and Safety Standards.  Our staff hold Site Safe Passports.

Resources

We have a very wide range of plant and equipment to cover almost every requirement.

Methodology

All work is carried out according to plans and specifications.

Construction periods for work undertaken by our company are monitored very closely with a programme being drawn up for all projects.

Liaison with authorities is a key facet of our business ensuring the smooth running of projects and completion within the specified time frame.

We hold regular site meetings in an endeavor to bring together all personnel involved in the various contracts in order to air any queries, and ensure that time frames are being met and to discuss any problems or specification changes that may have arisen.

Liaison with our clients and their representatives is of utmost importance, and every effort is made to achieve as little disruption to their business as is possible.
